Regulations for digital markets are to a great extent shaping modern global business ecosystems. Regulatory frameworks are crucial for keeping the digital economy open, equitable, and accountable in light of the fast growth of data-driven business models, international online transactions, and digital platforms. These rules control how businesses act in the market and have a major impact on how companies grow sustainably in cutthroat industries, manage their relationships with customers, and develop their overall strategy. As companies move toward a networked digital ecosystem, the use of digital technologies is expanding, and decisions are being made increasingly based on the data, algorithmic systems, and platform-based operations. Regulatory regimes are essential to influence business behavior, to help consumers and to maintain a level playing field between enterprises bidding for the business in global markets.
In this article, the conceptual and analytical effects of digital market laws on strategic management, consumer behaviour and economic growth are explored. It looks for opportunities to promote fair competition and innovation while examining the impact of regulatory actions on economic systems, the ways in which consumers develop trust and decision-making processes in regulated digital spaces and the ways in which organisations adapt their strategies to meet regulatory requirements. The survey continues: businesses dealing in global digital markets are experiencing more regulatory complexity as they try to meet the different regulations in each country. Complexity is the root cause of issues in various domains such as innovation management, data governance, operational efficiency, compliance, etc. In addition, it advocates for improved firms' governance structures and risk management practices.
