Abstract

Movements at the grassroots level have been the driving force behind political shifts for a considerable amount of time, particularly in South Asia. Through these movements, communities have been brought together, oppressive institutions have been attacked, and new policies have been imposed. the influence that public revolutions have had on the politics of the region, with a particular focus on four countries that are extremely important: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and North Nepal. Through an examination of movements in relation to issues such as minority rights, environmental justice, women's empowerment, and land rights, the study gives light on the strategies, challenges, and repercussions of movements. grassroots movements adopt techniques to oppose structural inequalities and enhance democratic rule through the utilization of community participation, cultural storytelling, and collective action.
