Abstract

This study examines the legal framework governing digital technologies in the era of big data, highlighting the legislative gap caused by the rapid pace of technological innovation relative to traditional lawmaking. The research aims to evaluate the adequacy of current legal provisions in protecting digital privacy, safeguarding cybersecurity, and regulating artificial intelligence applications. Utilizing descriptive, analytical, and comparative methodologies, the study is structured into two main sections covering legal and administrative challenges, followed by legislative and future-oriented solutions. The findings indicate that existing laws suffer from relative rigidity, necessitating dynamic frameworks and enhanced protection for sovereign data. The study recommends updating national legislation based on international best practices, establishing independent digital regulatory authorities, and strengthening cross-border international cooperation to counter cyber threats.
